Release: Ministry of Love
Label: Glasgow Underground
Genre: Dance – House – Deep
Glasgow Underground continue to introduce Romanthony to a new generation of dance fans, this time aided by Andre Crom and Kevin McKay on remix duties. The first release since Romanthony’s tragic passing had been sent to the pressing plant before he died. Following discussions with his family and advisors, Glasgow Underground is continuing its series of re-issues to help create a legacy for Romanthony’s children. Andre Crom takes Roman’s 1995 classic and takes it on a modern day garage journey filled with skipping beats and – in tribute to the original – one massive organ bassline.
Label: Moda Black
Genre: Dance – House
After the huge success of the Anthem EP (furiously supported by Catz ‘n’ Dogz, Claude Von Stroke, Jackmaster, Eats Everything, Breach and more) Moda Black welcomes Plezier back to the fold with 4 powerful, exciting and finely crafted slices of house. It was less than a year ago that an artist by the name of Plezier first appeared on Moda Black. Shrouded in mystery, music fans the world over simply hit play and let the music do the talking. What followed was a distinctly unique EP, fronted by the sonic power-bomb that became one of last summer’s biggest tracks ‘Plezier Anthem’.
