Believe Digital is attending WOMEX  in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, from Wednesday 22 to Sunday 26 October 2014.

WOMEX is an international networking platform for the world music industry. The annual five-day event comprises a bustling Trade Fair, Showcase FestivalConference, and Film programme, as well as an Award ceremony.

This year marks an important edition for WOMEX as it will be celebrating its 20th anniversary.

As a border-free festival, WOMEX has previously taken place in many locations. Over nineteen editions, the exposition has gathered people all across Europe from the very first one in Berlin (1994) to Marseille, France (1997), Thessaloniki, Greece (2012) or Cardiff, UK last year.

What’s not to miss over the weekend? Go see the widely acclaimed show from Batida (Soundway / Kartel), dance to La Yegros cumbia (Waxploitation / Kartel) and cheer to Bostich + Fussible’s take on northern Mexican music (Nacional Records).
