“I guess I temporarily had to loosen up on the minimalism,” Frøkedal eplains. “After all, we were trying to capture the slightly odd vibe of a spiritual awakening. There’s nothing moderate about that.”
After storming the German indie scene and playing almost 500 shows, 100 of those in 2014, I Heart Sharks all but disappeared. “We missed making music with our mates and playing at house parties and clubs,” says singer Pierre Bee, “We missed that veracity, and needed to find it again”.
