Rockcomm is nearly here!

Rockcomm London is the new UK Rock music conference bringing together artists and companies from all sub genres, brands and sectors of the rock music community including Labels, Publishers, Managers, Distributors, Digital aggregators, Booking agents, Festival promoters, and many more. This conference is designed to allow participants to come together and generate more real business opportunities via a strong emphasis on networking and communication. Rockcomm is a great platform to create and maintain relationships with people who are actively making an impact on the rock music industry.

Expect many showcases from a wide array of rock artists that will demonstrate what is happening in the rock community these days. The 2-day event is the ideal prep ahead of the iconic Download Festival and awards ceremonies by Kerrang and Golden Gods a week later.

Members of the Believe team will be taking part in some of the Rockcomm panels to discuss the current affairs within the community. Gideon Mountford our Head of Video(UK) and International Video business Development will be on one of the panels hosted by PRS Music. This rock orientated panel will take place on the Tuesday at 12:15pm. Be sure not to miss it! It will be covering Legal, Financial, Collection Society’s, Neighboring Rights and Publishing.

We will have our own panel with General Manager Lee Morrison attending. This panel will be discussing the way in which we release and distribute records and the growing importance of engaging fan bases. This panel will commence at 4:30 on the Tuesday also.

Laurence James, Senior Video Channel Manager will be holding a keynote speech based on collecting revenues from YouTube and Vevo. This will be held at 5pm on the Monday of the conference.
